Management of Remote Exams

Nýheimar Knowledge Center oversees remote exams for university students in Hornafjörður.

Exam Location Registration

All university students who wish to use this service and take exams from their schools in Höfn are encouraged to register their exam location at Höfn with their school. This can be done through Uglan. This applies to both distance and on-site students, providing on-site students the flexibility to return home to Hornafjörður earlier during exam periods before Christmas and summer breaks.

From January 1, 2025, exam services will be free for students! 

Process and Contacts

In all cases, the university must send instructions and exams to the center. The process can be expedited if students identify the correct contact person themselves.
